First-instar larva of Tachyta nana (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Trechitae), scale - 0.2 mm.

I made this drawing in 1997 for the Tachyini larval paper (co-authored by David Maddison). Dealing with this withe larva, I had to make black background to stress the volume.
