Laboratory equipment and facilities
Laboratory of Experimental Entomology posses insect and plant growing facilities, climatic chambers, thermostats, refrigerators and all other equipment sufficient to conduct various kinds of research projects.
A set of climatic chambers designed, created and maintained by laboratory engineer, Mr. G. M. Shkarlat, consists of two walk-in thermostatic rooms each including 20 chambers with independent control of light - dark cycle and 14 insect rearing units that are capable of maintain any photoperiodic and thermoperiodic conditions.
