Research Interests

Amphibians and reptiles of Palearctic and Oriental Asia regions: biodiversity, biogeography, ecology, taxonomy, phylogeny, conservation, captive breeding.

Field Research

More than 60 field trips to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbajan, Northern Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldavia, Siberia, Far East of Russia, Kuril islands, Transbaikal region, Mongolia (four full seasons). Among them 21 field trips to Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Nepal and India.
