Genus Frankenbergerius Balthasar Frankenbergerius nanus (Peringuey, 1888)Diagnosis. This species is similar to F. opacus and F. nitidus but can be separated from them by having distinct transverse convexity on the last abdominal sternite. From the former in can also be separated by the pronotum having a flat base, and from the latter by matt elytral intervals. Distribution. This species is known from a few localities in the vicinity of Cape Town Body length: 5.5-6.5 mm. | ![]() |
