• 1999 Kandidatskaya Degree (Russian scientific degree considered to be equal to Ph.D.), Moscow State Pedagogical University, Russia. Thesis: "Larvae of the supertribe Trechitae (Coleoptera: Carabidae)." Supervisor: Professor Inessa Kh. Sharova.
