Abstract. Two new species, Coscinoptera victoriana L. Medvedev sp. nov. and C. tamaulipasi L. Medvedev sp. nov., both from the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, are described. Additional records for 17 other taxa (species and subspecies) of Clytrini occurring in Mexico are provided. Taxonomical status of some taxa is discussed. Key to the Mexican species of the genus Coscinoptera Lacordaire, 1848 is given. Anomoea flavokansiensis Moldenke, 1970 and Babia quadriguttata quadriguttata (Olivier, 1791) are recorded from Mexico for the first time.
