A new name for the Ussurian subspecies of the Tundra Shrew, Sorex tundrensis Merriam, 1900 (Mammalia: Soricidae)

Abstract. The names hitherto proposed for the Ussurian subspecies of Sorex tundrensis Merriam, 1900 (S. t. ussuriensis Okhotina, 1983, S. t. stroganovi Okhotina, 1984, S. t. stroganovi Yudin, 1989) are preoccupied. A new name, Sorex tundrensis khankae, is proposed for this taxon.
