Phyllobdellina kozatshenkoi gen. et sp. n. from coastal waters of the Kuril Islands (Hirudinea: Piscicolidae)

Abstract. Phyllobdellina kozatshenkoi gen. et sp. n., parasitic on the flatfish Clidoderma asperrimum from the Sea of Okhotsk, is described. All individuals examined have the following characteristics: body greatly flattened; trachelosome much narrower than urosome; somites 3-annulate, with four large papillae and a great number of small ones dorsally; posterior crop caeca completely separated; no accessory glands present; bursa very short; conductive tissue absent; ovisacs very long.
