A new species of Melanagromyza feeding on giant hogweed in the Caucasus (Diptera: Agromyzidae)

Abstract. A new species, Melanagromyza heracleana sp. n., is described from the Caucasus, with larva developing as stem-borer on Heracleum mantegazzianum.
