Four new species of the Triplophysa stoliczkai-complex from China (Pisces: Cypriniformes: Balitoridae)

Abstract. Four new species of the genus Triplophysa (T. aquaecaeruleae, T. hialmari, T. rossoperegrinatorum and T. alexandrae spp. n.) from China are described. All these species belong to the T. stoliczkai-complex. A revised diagnosis of this complex is given. Validity of T. tenuis (Day), T. dorsonotata (Kessler) and T. stenura (Herzenstein) is briefly discussed.
