A new species of the genus Pseudotaphoxenus from Kazakhstan (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Sphodrini)

Abstract. A new species of the genus Pseudotaphoxenus Schaufuss, 1865, P. kazakhstanicus sp. nov., is described from the Aktolagai Mountain Range in Western Kazakhstan and the Koksengir Mountains in Central Kasakhstan.
