Research Interests

Geographic variation and distribution of amphibians of the Russian Plain; Hybridogenetic and cryptic speciation in amphibians of Eastern Europe; Fauna and ecology of amphibians of the Central Chernozem Territory of Russia; Fauna, ecology and protection of the tetrapods of the Tambov Province.

Field Research

Numerous field trips to Central Russia, Middle Volga Basin and East Ukraine.
