Species: Corvus cornix Linnaeus, 1758    Aves

Description: Cytoarchitecture of a part of the paleostriatum (PP) of a crow. One can see large neurons that are surrounded by glial cells (neuroglial comlex), as well as numerous small neurons and glia. A diffuse distribution of neurons is characteristic for this region of a hemisphere. Neuroglial associations are barely present.
