Species: Platyias patulus (Müller, 1786)    Rotifera

Description: Platyias patulus, patterns of FMRFamide (red) and of 5-HT (green) immunoreactivity. General FMRFamide-IR pattern and 5-HT-IR pattern in a double-stained specimen are annotated separately. Note the ventrolateral nerve cords and anterior dorsal semi-ring (adr) with neurons (n).
