A new species of Ulidia (Diptera: Ulidiidae) from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

Abstract. Ulidia transcaspica sp. nov. from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is described and depicted. The new species is close to U. nigricubitalis Zaitzev, 1982 from Mongolia; U. nigricubitalis is also depicted.
