Species of the genus Stygnocoris from Russia and adjacent countries (Heteroptera: Lygaeidae)

Abstract. Five Stygnocoris species from the territory of Russia and adjacent countries are keyed. Their distributions in Russia and adjacent countries, based on the collection of the Zoological Institute, St.Petersburg, are mapped. New synonymies are established: S. cimbricus (Gredler, 1870) = S. pilosulus (Thomson, 1870) = S. pygmaeus auct. (non R.F. Sahlberg); S. sabulosus (Schilling, 1829) = S. pygmaeus (R.F. Sahlberg, 1848).
