Collection: Brain of the birds (Aves) Species: Corvus cornix Linnaeus, 1758 Aves Description: Frontal (transverse) paraffin sections through a telencephalic hemisphere of a carrion crow stained with toluidine blue by the Nissl method. The section shows the overal structure (cytoarchitecture) of a telencephalic hemisphere, and the distribution pattern of neuronal populations in different regions of the hemisphere.
