Резюме

Гибридизация видов – широко распространённое явление в эволюции животных. Она имеет важное значение в видообразовании. Кратко рассмотрена история проблемы. Даны определения основных терминов и их обсуждение. Рассмотрены различные категории гибридизации и гибридных зон по их форме (узкие, широкие), генетической и пространственной структуре (клинальные, мозаичные, сетчатые, остаточные; симпатрические; уни- и бимодальные), билатеральная и асимметричная интрогрессия генов, механизмы формирования и поддержания гибридных зон, стабильность и подвижность зон, а также связь гибридизации с таксономией, зоогеографией и охраной видов.
